아래 내용은 킹 허브에 관련된 워런티와 베어링 문제에 대한 질문의 답변입니다.
베어링은 관리만 잘해주면 교환의 필요가 없고, 라이딩 스타일에 따라 적게는 6/12개월마다 한번씩
짧게는 3개월마다 한번씩. 1,2년사이엔 전체적인 점검을 해야만 합니다.
이렇게 점검하지 않고 문제가 생긴 허브는 무상부증에서 제외된다는 KING 본사의 입장입니다.
당사도 kING의 한국총판으로서 미국KING본사의 원칙을 준수해야만하는 입장입니다.

킹에서나오는 링드라이브오일을 절대적으로 권유합니다)
관리를 전혀안하고 생기는문제는 무상보증수리가 안됨을 양지하시길 바랍니다.
간단한 청소는 15분정도 소요됩니다. 15분의 투자가 15년을 사용할수 있습니다.
역시 잦은 청소와 리그리스 작업이 필요합니다.(킹 전용 루브를 권장)
시마노 스프라켓 11T사용시 생기는 유격의 문제는 0.5mm 링으로 해결을 하며, 시마노에 의뢰를

My name is Adrian Knapp and I am the warranty/tech person here at Chris King.
I can help you with any warranty and service questions or needs that you may have.
The hubs do carry a 5 year warranty.
Bearings almost never need to be replaced.
In most cases, servicing the bearings and RingDrive assembly will clear up any problems.
Please see your Technical Service Manual as regards the proper service techniques.
One of the great selling features of the hubs is their serviceability and the long life of the bearings that
can be attained through regular maintenance.
The rear hubs should be maintained every 6-12 months in normal and dry conditions and every 3
months in wet or muddy conditions. The basic maintenance procedure is outlined in every hub
owners manual and can be performed with two 5mm allen wrenches.
The basic maintenance only takes about 15 minutes.
Always use our RingDrive lube when servicing the rear hub.
A complete servicing of the hub using the Hub Service Tool should be performed every 1 - 2 years.
Even the most neglected bearings can be brought back to life with the use of the Hub Service Tool.
Lack of maintenance is not considered a warranty.
We are always able to inspect and or repair any parts that you want to send in for warranty.
If you would like to send in parts for warranty inspection please let us know via email and we can
issue a return authorization number.
You can purchase small parts with your orders if you would like.

Seal and snap-ring kits are available for all hub and headset bearins.
Proper maintenance will take care of most problems.
Any other problems that can not be rectified with the Hub Service Tool can be sent back to the factory
for warranty inspections/repair.

Due to the variation in stack height of the different Shimano cassettes, Shimano produces a .5mm
spacer that will take up the extra space on cassettes that are not tightening fully on the drive shell.
